Facebook Coyle Inspection Engineers, Inc.: "Coyle Inspection Engineers, Inc. Radiant heat for a driveway. Hmmm... I wonder how much that will add to their energy bill and the carbon footprint!"

Facebook Coyle Inspection Engineers, Inc.: "Coyle Inspection Engineers, Inc. Spread footings are intended to transmit the foundation loads to the soil. But what happens when the footings are undermined? In this case the foundation has settled and cracked. I suspect the footings were placed on poorly compacted 'fill' soil that has settled out and washed out over the years. Remedy = underpin with steel piers."

Structural Repair Testimonial

We just received this very nice letter regarding a structural repair we performed this year. The project involved installation of a bearing wall, beams, posts, footings, and joist repairs in the cellar and crawlspace. Let us know if we can help you with your structural challenges!

“Mike and the Coyle Structural Repair organization practice the most professional levels of service, communication and construction. In the process of readying my Wash Park house for sale, and under some time pressure, I utilized Mike for the design and then had him put together a team for the implementation. Everyone involved was flexible to meet my schedule and did great work. The icing on the cake was that the work was priced very competitively. It felt like a win for me in what was otherwise a stressful situation. If the need for structural repair arises again, I know who I’ll call.”

Structural Repair Design/Build Services

Being a professional engineer and a general contractor is a rare blend. Historically I have either focused on one or the other, but typically not both at the same time. However, at this time I can honestly say that it makes sense to offer design/build services for structural repairs in the Denver area.
There are a lot of homes with a need for minor structural repairs, but most of the structural repair companies are more interested in the larger projects, and have lead times of 30 days or more till they can do the project. Hence, we are aiming to fill that small project niche, and provide services in an expedited timeframe that combine the repair design and the repairs themselves. This is an ideal scenario for someone selling their home where the home inspection revealed a small problem that might otherwise jeopardize the transaction if it can't be fixed "yesterday."
Who knows where this might take us? Stay tuned, and if you need it done yesterday, call Coyle Inspection Engineers & Building Group at (303)745-5209.
